I couldn't ignore those questions. And the more I looked, the more I realised nobody was really solving them.
I was one of the lucky few who found my thing early. Not just because I discovered fencing, but because I had a coach who showed up every week, prepared, and gave me something consistent to grow into. That combination took me to Commonwealth and World Championship medals and around the world representing Team GB.
Most children never get that coach, that consistency, or that chance.
